From plain old pine hallway console table to cool contemporary computer desk.

This unwanted piece has been remodelled and re-purposed into a modern slimline desk, making it ideal for homeworking as it’s discreet enough to fit in an alcove or under stairs.

To create the contemporary look we removed the old back and sides and created a brand new sleek edge with corner shelves and a cut out to tidy away laptop, monitor and phone cables. We rebuilt the original drawer and added soft close drawer runners to bring it up to date.

The desk surface area is deep enough to accommodate a laptop or screen and keyboard.

We chose a combination of our favourite eco-friendly Fusion Mineral Paints in Midnight blue and Renfrew Blue, adding copper leaf accents on the legs and edging.
