1. PRODUCT SPECIFICATION:

Most of the furniture and home accessories we sell are second hand, reclaimed and up-cycled. They have been used and loved over many years which only adds to their charm. Please don't expect to receive an item in brand new condition. We carry out restoration on items where necessary and will highlight any minor defects in our product descriptions. If you want more details on any product or have any questions about the condition or suitability of any product, please contact us before purchasing.

By buying from The Odd Thing, you agree to accept the products as they are photographed and described. Once the product has been delivered, The Odd Thing cannot be held responsible for any deterioration or damage through usage, by the recipient.

We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this site at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this site.

We recommend protecting furniture if placing items on painted and varnished surfaces. Whilst the surfaces have been treated with many layers of paint, varnish and oil, we can not guarantee that mugs, glasses or other accessories won’t damage the finish.

All upholstered items comply with current fire retardant regulations.

2. MEASUREMENTS:

Our product descriptions will always include the approximate dimensions of the item however, access for delivery to your room of choice is your responsibility. We cannot be held responsible if an item of furniture cannot gain access to, or does not fit in its intended space. We strongly recommend that you measure all access areas prior to making a purchase

If you would like exact dimensions for an item please contact us before purchasing.

The Odd Thing accepts payment via PayPal. If you don’t have a PayPal account you can also use all major credit cards, via PayPal. We’ve chosen to do it this way to offer you the highest level of protection when making a purchase. PayPal deliver one of the most secure payment platforms in the world. After more than a decade as the leader in online payments, they've learned a thing or two about keeping your information safe.

Safeguarding your financial and personal information is one of PayPal’s most important priorities. That's why they automatically encrypt all sensitive information sent between your computer and their systems, ensuring your information is kept private.

If you want to know the techy stuff…they verify that your Internet browser is running Secure Sockets Layer 3.0 (SSL) or higher. Information is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of 168 bits (the highest level commercially available). They store your personal information and ensure it's heavily guarded both physically and electronically. To further safeguard your debit and credit card numbers and your bank account details, they do not directly connect their firewall-protected servers to the internet.
