A large vintage storage chest with a luscious velvet seat pad and a surprise interior. A decorative motif on the front adds to its charm.
The exterior is painted in Coal Black Fusion Mineral Paint. The top has been reinforced and new foam added before reupholstering in Sumatra Midnight velvet fabric from the Tropical Velvets Collection by Chatham Glyn.
The interior of the chest is painted in Little Greene paint in Puck. The seat is covered in a tropical flora and fauna velvet fabric. A new stay has been added to hold the seat safely when open. All painted surfaces have a Beeswax finish for added protection and durability.
